I dunno?, the Permian seems open to multiple horizontal fracs not just vertical these days...big difference and quite a fair payout in comparison to anywhere else after costs on other shale plays. The gas too is abundant and wet (high in BTU therefore more valuable)...could do very very much much worse than a Permian well with say a 99.9% production success rate.
the Permian is evolving that's for sure bit like a suburb does once the trendies take over with their latte's and ipads lol
