People making these statements "I believe that they have very little chance of ever being in the money even though i own them myself. I am fully expecting to lose what's left of my initial investment. "
There is this little icon on all on-line broker's sites named 'BUY/SELL', and there's been ample opportunity over the last several months for anyone really believing the above to have made it towards, or at the top, of the 0.005/0.004 sell queues. GGPO sold late last month for 0.005 when all the 0.004's were taken out if a seller were sitting at the top of 0.005.
This is an open forum and people are able to post anything they wish on here (even bending guidlines a bit) without ever having to have any proof of truth in what they say, or what their real their intentions are, and as we all know there is no lie detector test to sort statements out, mine included.
The only way we can get some degree of where a person is at is if we know 1) They are at the very least somewhat consistent in what they're saying over a period 2) Provide at the minimum some form of evidence that substantiates their words
Whenever there is what looks to be either an up or a down ramp , in this case with GGPO, it just doesn't hold any water if there is not a substantiation given along with what could be perceived by many to be a manipulative post.
If I thought that either a stock or the options that I owned were dead ducks, well guess what? I would simply sell them on market any day of the week, and for both the heads and oppies there is a market that is willing to buy.
Now I can say I bought more GGPO in last two days, but can I prove it, NO! I can also say that I sold a swag of heads today at 0.023 and can I also prove that, NO!
So why would I bother, and it's also against HC's guidlines anyway, but what gets me the most is when someone says something to the effect of - I am concerned about others having a potential to lose their money in the same stock that I am trying to sell at a higher price. Well the main reason everyone is in this market is to take another person's money through the buy/sell transaction by taking 'x'% profit from them.
At this stage of GGP's growth, and without any credible evidence supporting a statement inferring that prices will fall on the options and be worthless, as the options are driven by the price of the heads... then the person making this statement should be taken to task to provide some form of either proof or the very least an explanation as to why they think this way.
This was absolutely great news today on many counts with timelines now published in the investor presentation for all the new verticals and horizontals in the Permian, and anyone who can't forsee the heads trending north would have to be blind. Given enough disparity between heads and oppies, the oppies will eventually follow as well. There are quite a few GGPO freebies that have to be taken out first, so wait and watch, once these are moved onto the new owners it's the end of these cheap oppies. There is enough in this pipeline (oil also) to drive both the SP's on heads and oppies much higher.
Now I've highlighted my view on this subject, that's enough from me.
