Hi all, interesting thread indeed.
My take on it is that there has been no point perforating the B Sands as the plant can't process the extra amount anyway.
In short, there is no point having 15TJ a day available when you can only process 8TJ. Also, if we were to go hammer and tongs and rip all the gas and condensates out of the ground we would lose our longevity. We need 10 years out of these wells (supplying a steady income stream) so that we can go off an find more drill sites and ultimately more pay dirt.
If all of the gas is pulled out in 2 years we would have a good share price and be paid a dividends... but then what? 2-3 years is not long enough to do the seismics, 2d, 3d and then drill hoping for a discovery. This is short term gain for short term pain thinking IMO.
Cheers
