Redback Mining was an Australian mining company in Ghana which transferred to the TSX listing in Canada. Mines at Chirano in greenstone belt(?) near Newmont's big mines. Has gone up 20-30 times issue price. Some of us held on & I can't think of a better originally Australian gold miner. Now produces about 300,000 ounces gold per year & is heading for 500, 000 ounces soon. Share prices touched $ 18.40 few days ago before this late January & early February seasonal dip. `Cost of production in Ghana low. Same class producer as Newcrest soon. Hope there are a few other Redback survivors out there.
