Other thing to ponder, let's suppose the price will languish for many months/1 year around 1.5-1.7 area. Canadians paid $2.2 for 19.9% of the company. Why wouldn't they (or together with some canadian pension funds) make a takeover offer for the same price $2.2 then? It would be a minimum of 30% premium to the last traded price and new entrants in 1.5-1.7 area would accept it happily. Not that I expect it to happen but considering what bonds offer and interest rates will stay around 0-1% area for years to come, that is a possibility.
