I see Brisbane city council on the list. A question, Am I correct in my current understanding that the federal government is exempt from Carbon Tax?
Due to BCC being the biggest municipal government by area in the southern hemisphere I guess its up there with the "big 500" owing to fact it has large amounts vehicles and plant they use to servic e the large area of their responsibility. So now, if you pay rates to the Brisbane CC you can expect rising rate charges or declining services.
Another question, Did the boys and girls at labor Hq take into account this huge increase to a municipal governemnts cost base that services over a million or so people, when they were calculating to their compensation.
