Tincom invests in clean coal production project in Australia

Thang Long Investment and Commercial Joint Stock Co (Tincom) announced that the company's joint project of producing Coldry coal for exporting purpose with Australia-based Environmental Clean Technologies Co (ECT) was in-progress of application procedures in order to establish the joint venture within this year. The project has total production capacity of 20 million tonnes per year.
In the first phase, the two parties planned to invest $93 million to construct and put into operation the plant after three years with the targeted coal production volume of two million tonnes per year. After 10 years, the expected capacity may reach 20 million tonnes per year.
The concerning parties got investment licence issued by Ministry of Planning and Investment within the period of 50 years. This is also the first Coldry supplying agreement signed with ECT in this field.
