Due diligence and healthy skepticism is not being stuck in a box, it should be standard practice to examine at what is being presented and inquire how it came about, and not jump to fantastic ideas prematurely.
It is those who jump to conclusions that conform to their belief in fantastic things, based on the flimsiest of information that are caught up in box of their own beliefs.
