Sure, it's good to think ahead but if the issue is of sufficient interest to you, start an appropriate thread and offering your own thoughts, rather than just dropping a 2 line question. Make a contribution. People will be generous with their comments as long as they don't think someone is being lazy or that it's going to prejudice the company's position, and thus theirs, too.

I believe 'do you think' sufficiently specifies I'm looking for opinions and not a factual based response, because obviously there isn't one, lake probably wouldn't even have those plans in place yet. There is however nothing wrong with opening discussion to those.

Don't have a go at my 2 line question, which was reasonable, and quote that with a 20 line response that didn't answer any of it, if no one wants to answer it, simply ignore it, which is what you should've done.
