Folks - I do get the up's and down's of markets - seriously.
But what I am really interested in is the ARTIFICIAL manipulation of what a company's worth. By shorters.
The retail normal investor who researches a company and sees a good solid thing would naturally think - well this looks solid. Good management, good P/L's, good prospects, etc.
The last thing an investor should worry about are predators who deliberatly collude with other predators to drive down the value of the company despite the fact nothing in it's fundamentals have changed.
No-one can expect good solid citizens who want to invest in a well managed company with good prospects to 'FACTOR' in these slime bag rapists that make money from our investments.
how do they make money - by scaring the beejezzuz out of honest investors who end up selling at lower prices because they think there is something wrong.
Once again I will ask - is shorting LEGAL???? Can shorters be exposed and sued for false manipulation of market prices by the companies and can investors who have lost their money sue for losing their hard earned cash by artificial manipulation?
But I get the bit if a company miss manages its business it should get hammered - that's NOT the issue I am raising here.
