    Correct @Wazza222. If Remdesivir works there would be less need (a very long way from no need) for Rem-L. A good thing for humanity.

    I addressed this previously:
    "The only relationship between these treatments is that if Remdesivir works extremely well and is available for everybody at risk then there will be less need for Rem-L to treat Covid caused ARDS.
    There will still be plenty of work for Rem-L, in people already disabled by ARDS even though it didn't kill them. And many other causes of ARDS, like annual flu, and other lung fibrosis diagnoses.

    And who knows what the bats in China are already planning for us?"


    Also note that Remdesivir would need to actually be given i.e. the patient needs to be identified and agree to the treatment; it would need to work (not all anti-virals work all the time); the doctor and patient would need to discuss and accept potential serious side-effects.

    There would still be plenty of work for Rem-L.
