gillard and labor stand tall as libs go lower

Nice to see PM Gillard and Labor reacting with such pride and decency towards a dirty joke cracked by some comedian about Tony and his female staff member.

These rumours about Abbott and Ms Credlin have circulated for some time now, as they do about all politicians. Wouldn't have thought it anything to get too upset about.

By the way, does anyone know what the 'joke' was? No one seems to want to talk about it? Very odd.

However, Labor apologised for anything it had to do with the matter, and has left it at that.

Compare this with the Alan Jones matter. Here we had a Liberal Party luminary cracking a 'joke' about a recently deceased person by blaming his death on his grieving daughter, which brought raucous laughter from the party youngsters. Very disturbing, but true. Weirdness at a level we don't often see in supposedly decent circles.

Then, to completely display their lack of social perspective, they then proceeded to blame Labor and Gillard for trying to make political mileage out of Liberal weirdness and creepy behaviour. Good grief. Could anyone actually believe that?

And now they further display their lack of social awareness, by thinking some dirty sex joke about Abbott and his female staff member is perfectly analogous with the Jones "joke".

Talking about awareness, who could believe Abbott's comments in parliament about 'died of shame'. If he wasn't aware of the gravity of those comments, then he has no place in any senior role in Australian business or government. He is obviously very unaware and thick. What a joke. Didn't realise.......LOL.

That was the grubbiest of the grubby.
