well here goes another stuff up.... apparently gillard did not talk to the NT ALP party about putting up peris for the job as senator the sitting member just sent a notice to 2gb, stating it is up to the NT ALP caucus to pre select a nomination.... and that caucus is quite happy with their current member
they are not happy about peris being nominated for the job especially over the top of the current person holding that position, who is expected to hold it in an election
so gillard has attempted to go over their heads gillard does not have the authority to order an appointment peris is not a member of the ALP
here goes another fight, internal stuff up apparently paul howes is also unaware of the appointment howes is the NO 1 faceless, most important VIP... he is actually the generic PM, that is how powerful he is
would love to be a fly on the wall....sigh ...again
