"The Prime Minister said she was "extremely concerned" about anecdotal evidence that Australian suppliers were being discriminated against in mining industry contracts that specified the use of Chinese equipment and suppliers."

Really? .... but apparently Chinese companies coming in a taking ownership of Australian resource companies (via any means) is AOK?

What on Earth do Swan and Gillard expect when they sign every FIRB approval form shoved in front of them?

It is disappointing that they are more concerned about appeasing their union manufacturing buddies than actually ensuring the resources in the ground stay in Australian hands.
