What Julia thought 14 years ago is fairly irrelevant, but no-one is questioning the fact that what Wikileaks did was illegal in the USA. The LWNJ's (ie anyone here who isn't a RWNJ) just believe that the public disclosure of US war crimes was in the public interest and in the interests of press freedom.
The guy (?) who actually leaked the information (Chelsea Manning) walked free seven years ago; he probably thought he'd get away with it if someone else published it.
