Why are the media not questioning them now on their "opinions" of Gillard's performance and blatant lies.

Do you recall the statement, "there will be no carbon tax etc etc". What do those learned pair say about all of that now?

What do they say about the continued influx and welcome mat for illegals?

The media, especially the Parliamentary Press gallery, are quite simply put, a bit of a joke. It is a "Club" and apparently, journalists have to play by the rules.

Unfortunately, those "rules" appear to be set by politicians.

So, if you upset Gillard, you then get cut out of the "media cycle" game. You then don't get "stories" for your media outlet, and you end up getting shafted.

There is no truly "independent" media. Sir joh summed it all up pretty well back in his time. He called it "feeding the chooks". ie. you give the media some stories.....and then they go away and leave you alone.
