The fundamental problem with Gillard is she is a liar and the Australian people (with half a brain) won't accept this trait in the leader of their country. What we saw today were 73 representatives of their constituents accepting dishonesty. I'm no fan of Rudd but I'd prefer him to someone who said "there will be no carbon tax under the government I lead" and then boast during this leadership challenge that "I am the person who gets things done… Kevin Rudd, when the going got tough, couldn't get carbon pricing done". Now the left will argue "it is not a carbon tax" but myself and the majority of Australians see it for what it is - DISHONESTY.
