The bulk of the Australian people demanded a suspension of live exports to Indonesia. It was not a political decision by Gillard it was a governmental regulatory one and a Liberal government would have done the same.
The grazier should be blaming the live cattle export company that allowed this situation to develop. They are the culprits.
The governments of Indonesia and Australia are currently working to find a solution and I'd expect some live cattle exports to some abbatoirs to recommence shortly.
