I would too bundyau. But it seems many Australians care more for animals than for humans. I don't like cruelty in any form but I have been around and what passes as cruelty in one country is not the same as in another country. That also applies to human activities such as spousal cruelty and child abuse...different standards in different countries.
We will never change cultural practices in foreign countries so we need to decide if we are going to export live cattle at all to countries in which their treatment upsets our sensibilities. I am in two minds about it actually as I appreciate both sides of the argument.
What disgusts me is posters on here trying to turn this into a party political issue. It's a moral issue and would be dividing followers of both major parties.
