    Interesting points, but I must take issue with one point.

    The RSPT doesn't only affect mining companies and the wealthy. It al;o affects any people with Superannuation as most superannuation portfolios will contain mining stocks. Therefore the RSPT affects a lot more people than you might think alveit indirectly.

    Nevertheless, philosophically I am in favour of what the government says it is trying to do although I would like a lot more consultation and consideration given.
