More to the point - why are so many union executives being shoe-horned into Labor seats. What is the selection process? Corporate leaders would not be allowed to serve in the Liberal Party as parliamentary members due to the potential for conflicts of interest. So why is it ok for unelected union members to be in parliament for the Labor party.
