This two-part series uses original colour film to tell the story of the Korean War - a war that lasted three years but still leaves the country bitterly divided. It offers a unique insight into a conflict that saw East confront West, communism challenge liberal democracy and Korean fight Korean in a bloody civil war. The film includes unseen footage such as bombing from the North Korean perspective, early pictures of Kim Il-Sung and images of US prisoners of war.
The allies also used to shoot North Koreans. This documentary tells it all. Opening scene has a hundred blokes lined up and shot accused of being NKPA spies.
I don't like Julia much but she would be silly to say something bad about China or North Korea while visiting. Not her place, good luck to her.
