Gillard .... the incompetent opportunist is a living example of the outcome of quotas in politics. Surely there are female candidates who are not incompetent.

Gillard has just lauded the politics in Rwanda as world standard. Why? Because over half its politicians are female. These females have been hand picked and know that they have to toe the line lest they get the treatment of arbitrary arrest.

A woman, and her staff, who nominated to run against their President was immediately harassed by police.  Even Amnesty Int attacks Rwanda as having no significant opposition. Yet Gillard claims it is world standard.

Gillard is relying on the superficiality of her supporters to take her word for it.
