Gillard didn't have the grace to apologise. Normally it shouldn't be a big deal but she made such meal about Abbott that she left herself wide open.
She compounded it in my opinion by stating that "I left in plenty of time" which of course cannot be true.
It's a bit like people who say "I didn't have time" when in reality they used the time to do something else - they just didn't prioritise the task that they didn't have time for.
