Kevin is knifed.
A track record so poor they desrved to loose government.
The former communist party member, union lawyer, business hating heir apparent PM failed past the recent election post and will do "what it takes" to form a minority government.
How many people who voted Greens are really all that happy now to have effectively voted Labor? What are the green credentials of the labour government that the Greens would throw away their independence?
The power of governing is driving these politicians to make deals that aren't a natural fit imo.
I feel we are about to enter the Dark Ages of Australian politics for the next 3 yrs with a Greens constrained Labour minority government. Things will be so finely balanced there will be no scope for visionary government ... it is just so depressing.
I can see future shock as Greens driven energy policy causes electricity prices to begin to spike within the next three years.
The only hope of a rennaisance is for the remaining independents to remain independent and basically force a new election.
If not, Australia will be a damaged nation heading into an election in three yrs time.
Oh, I nearly forgot ... the disconnect is that the Australian psyche is aligned to the myth of Labor representing the worker ... the real Labor psyche is severely introspective and aligned only to hanging onto power ... at all costs
