But it was OK to keep spending up big after the worst of the economic crisis had passed ... suddenly Gillard finds some economic sense???

On the contrary she's just admitted they've fired off all their bullets and committed every unreceived dollar to future spending and now will be cutting spending right and center but probably not left.

Not so fun times ahead IMO courtesy of of the fools who believed it could never rain like it has in the past again and now it is potentially the catalyst of what will unravel their overcooked economic intervention and wasteful spending.
