Labor went to the last election with a policy to bring forward the floating price associated with the Carbon Tax. IIRC it's still the policy they are promoting, IMHO hoping that someone else will vote the Carbon Tax away so that they will no longer have to deal with the politics around the subject.
Perhaps they are grateful to Clive Palmer and his display of uncommon sense.
