If this type of result prevailed across Queensland the impact federally would be profound. Rudd could have a good win if reinstated as the peoples choice for PM. Even much maligned Gillard is currently very competitive with the polls tightening further and she is preferred to abbott by a significant margin.

I still believe Malcolm Turnbull has the edge on them all.
