For some reason people got Gillard's speech wrong, got it out of context and treated it as something it was not.

Hitler was idolised in his day and would have done very well on a Nielson Poll i'd say, even though he was leading the country down the path to war and genicide of millions of people, his own country and that of the Jewish nation.
