If ever there's a time to re-introduce national conscription its got to be now...not for the armed services, but for our political arena!! Peter Costello should be conscripted to return to the fray. If he refuses he should be immediately tried in court, found guilty and then be given a three year paid "community services" order. His duties would be to clean up the country!!
