Maybe an option to look at is optional Preferential voting if the Libs have the ability. With Labor around low to mid 30's and Greens around 10 - and with the Greens like mules as far as flexibility and compromise are concerned, OPV could just about nobble Labor until such time as they realise the Watermelons are a threat, not allies, and destroy them.
That should give the Coalition at least a decade in power.
