excellent patriotic work - great effort.

What we all forget, more importantly, reading your list of Shambolic Labor stuff-ups and smoke and mirrors blatant, oft deliberate pigheaded stubborness/incompetence, is that four young lives were most tragically lost solely thanks to the Pink Batts fiasco - greedy installers using up unskilled/unskilled workers - lives which were precious - more important than money or politicians and tawdry grabs for power at all and any cost!

Self-promoting Pollies rush to Gallipoli in designer clothes and VIP jet luxury to sob over long dead youth for their own benefit in image enhancing photo opportunities - yet bet they never give a second thought to the tragic loss of these four young Australians.

Wonder what's become of their grieving families - their Mums, Dads, siblings, and extended families - how are they coping with THEIR grief - and who of us ever stops to wonder - moreso Rudd or Gillard, whose smugness and consciences don't seem to have suffered any long lasting twinges.

Of course Gillard's up in Newspoll - when any of us get an unexpected cash handout from "Uncle Bill" or "Aunty Jessie" or "Grandpa Jones", and can therefore suddenly afford the car rego or to fix the fence, we feel a sudden rush of warm glow thankfulness. And, if the benedfactor indicates there's to be more cash to be had where this came from, we'll be utterly "theirs".

Abbott Monster is not Lincoln, Menzies, or Churchill. No.
Perhaps he could be - but has to grow once in the job, and improve, and perhaps prove he is indeed great.
But he's the best fate has turned up for us at this particular time. NO one's saying he's short in the guts department. For surely a job outside politics is a much more attractive horizon - for anyone whose not half mad. Or totally devoted to their country. As most of the current "rulers" are not - or they'd stand up and speak out, today, against their own - for the sake of sheer unselfish patriotism - and they'd be happy to face the voters if they value their own reputations, and then repair to the opposition benches for a long needed weed out and re-group should they retain their seats. Which they would if they were good!

The sycophantic benches - Oakeshott, Windsor, Wilkie, (who changes views like the wind), Katter, and now Thomson, are no patriots. Self interest and self pocket lining are, I allege, all they ever care about.

Australia, sadly, is being held to ransom by this despicable few. History will condemn them accordingly. Truths usually emerge, given time, But not always.
