gillard just made rudd stronger. she gave rudd an ability to come back because most people saw her as the white ant that took his job. Rudd even managed to keep his seat. gillards lack of polical skills killed her off, she also did not have legitimacy regardless of people trying to tell us that she did. she was not voted into the job when she took over rudds disaster and nor was she voted in without a special back door deal with the greens that gave us a carbon tax. gillard was not a very good politician and if she was a man..she would have been killed off even sooner. Her gender bought her more time than rudd. like Whitlam, people will give her more credit than she was ever due simply because it helpes them cope with denial. gillard lacked judgement and her own party fired her, so lets not try and make her out to be anything other than what she was. she can spend the next 2 years telling everyone just how wonderful she is, but its falling on deaf ears and she fell on her sword.
