Tim will need to be very nice to Julia in the next couple of days because next Monday is looming fast.
Apart from a Labor disaster in WA, there is a caucus meeting coming up. And I believe there is a national Newspoll.
Of course the official McTernan line will be that the WA election was decided on state matters LOL.
Maybe the Newspoll will be up a point due to the Rooty Hill safari. Or maybe it won't. But the usual spin will apply - "we are governing, governing, governing". In reality Labor is pork barrelling, barrelling, barrelling.
And on Tuesday the Lower House resumes sitting. Stand by for fireworks.
