Michelle Grattan's latest article in The Age online [URL below] provides a great summamry of Julia Gillard's latest performance; bungling a too-good-to-be-true opportunity to reshuffle her Cabinet.
To quote from that article; "The botched attempt to woo the former NSW premier to Canberra has damaged the PM's credibility. ..."
Faced with a rare opportunity for a fresh start & the overhwelming backing of Caucus Gillard fluffed it at the very first opportunity.
Gillard may have been a great DPM & she may have great negotiating skills but as our PM we seem to nothing nothing but a continuing stream of poor political judgements.
Then she has those little matters of post Kevin Rudd leaking for which he was made scapegoat & loss of public trust still to be dealt with.
