What is worse, they won't remove the restrictions that prevent the imports of cheap European Diesels so that WE can drive fuel efficient cars - ones even better than hybrids.
How the hell can we cut emissions when the Govt. won't allow us to cut down our usage?
It's just occurred to me. If we did that, they wouldn't NEED a carbon tax. None of this is anything to do with reducing carbon emissions, it's to do with raising revenue. What a sick crew we have in Canberra.
But then they're going to give a lot of that revenue back to people on low incomes - who are mainly Labour voters .....
Yep, there it is! We need a carbon tax so they can buy votes.
