The huge flaw in this model is that there is no incentive for Malaysia or the UNHCR to critically assess the people that Australia sells to Malaysia because they wont be staying in Malaysia very long. They will simply be reclassified as legitimate refugees and sold back to Australia in return for another load of refugees from Christmas Is.
