If I was an optometrist in the ACT I would be pretty pee'd off, are they all duds in the Capital? If Julia Eileen Gillard paid for (you would have to assume we taxpayers didn't) an optometrist to fly to Canberra from Melbourne with glasses, she has really lost touch with the real world, carrying on like a spoilt rock star, that's Kevies role , not JE Gillard's
Would the optometrist have to take (to Canberra) the eye testing equipment if they were prescription glasses? Or are they just for show?
