The mayor of Narrogin was on the news, he was only told that 1,500 asylum seekers would be housed in his town a few hours before the general public. He was somewhat taken aback that noone had even asked his opinion or given him any warning.
More policy on the run, it really does give the impression that they don't know what the hell they are doing. They seem to sit around thinking up wild schemes and implementing them without any consultation or sanity check.
