I have lost count of the wars that Gillard is currently fighting. Some of her current battles are listed below:
The mining tax
The carbon tax - various enemies here
The fight with Paul Howes and the unions re jobs (see above)
NBN and its cost blow out
The fight with idlers and rorters
The fight with the military establishment
The pokie fight (courtesy of "sorry I forget and won't apologise" Andrew Wilkie)
The cigarette package fight.
The fall out from the pink batts
The bankrupt companies as a result of the BER
Then there's the fight to differentiate Labor from the Greens. And of course the fight with Abbott and the co-alition. And the coming fight with the States led by WA, NSW and Victoria re a large number of things.
And how can I forget the Rudd situation. "He is doing a marvellous job as Foreign Minister" - (pity we can't stand the sight of each other)".
Rumour has it that many Labor insiders are not at all happy with all of the above. Just ask Richo for a start.
Have I forget anything?
