Rudd is almost certainly of the pro-uranium persuasion as well. It will be politics that see's the result of the ALP vote on which direction to take Uranium policy, and whether the relevant State PLP's choose to toe the line (Beattie will, but will WA follow suit???).
The pro-development, and dominant ALP right-faction should have the numbers to see a good result come out of the conference.
