Give the guy a break. His EPRs were awarded in July 2010 (90,000 of them). They vested at the end of June 2013 after managing to deliver compound TSR of 30%+ pa each of the last three years, making people like your good selves a superb return over those same three years (assuming you were savvy enough to have identified this gem back then). If the guy wants to take some money off the table in accordance with his company's trading policy he's allowed to without having to field vexatious questions from you.
