Gina's views are very dangerous & showing ignorance about how wealth is accumulated in a competitive environment. due to competition for wealth & requiring relatively low paid workers to underpin profit for the enterpreneur, it is not possible for each individual to become a millionaire

her comparison with Europe is also very wrong. there are many democratic-socialist countries relatively well in Europe, such as Germany, Scandanavians, etc, which is the model Australia has historically been close to

what failed Europe was the economic union and bringing in 2nd world nations into it, such as Greece, Spain, Portugal, etc. the Greeks are corrupt, do not want to pay taxes, which is why there are so many problems there

the Gina Rinehart model of low wages & low taxes is the American model and, obviously, the model a civilised society wishes to avoid at all costs

statistics show prior to the Great Depression, just as now, the key indicators in the USA were the same in relation to:

1. low tax rates
2. low wages
3. concentration of wealth in the hands of a few

and who causes the Great Depressions & GFC? the Americans, natuarally

statistics show higher wages, higher taxes and higher banking regulations lead to a more stable & prosperous society

there is no need to reinvent the wheel. Western society experienced the Great Depression & the reforms that were put in place afterwards saw the Western economies essentially free from crisis until the Clinton deregulations & globalistion (exporting jobs)
