I think it is very interesting and a bit of an eye opener to actually go back to the beginning of the Lang Hancock/iron ore story & follow it through to today.
I think you'll find that the Hancocks have not yet developed a single iron ore resourse despite having sat on them for over half a century.
The media managed myth that Lang Hancock was anything but a squatter deal maker continues through Gina.
Whether her children would be any different is a moot point.
Whether she wants to share the bounty of her family's good fortune is her business.
But let's not fall into the trap of equating the aquisition of wealth (by whatever means) to be reason to have more right than anyone else to influence the political direction of the country.
I for one would hate to see Australia sink into the money directed, lobby driven, political system that the USA laughingly calls Democracy.
