i didn't see the original comment by grizzle, so I dont have the benefit of knowing the context, but...the title of the comment is condesending and sexist, if you cant see that then you are a part of the problem. i dont think you know the biological origin of the phrase "got the hots". (OK it might have crossed over to being less gender specific since I was an adolescent). In effect they are saying that woman's decisions and actions are emotive due to their hormone cycles.
