What most people are forgetting is that for any offer made by Gina to be successful, BoD support is a pre requisite. This is assuming the takeover is executed via a Scheme of Arrangement. This is overwhelmingly the most common way companies are merged or acquired on the ASX, it’s the method ABL attempted recently and how Gina and SQM launched their take over of AZS.

I have no idea what Gina will offer, if she offers anything at all, but the offer itself is inconsequential (in terms of any change in control) if the BoD does not support it.

Fortunately, we have a recent example we can rely on to try and predict BoD sentient = ALB’s offer of $3 which was recommended by the BoD, albeit subject to various conditions. What would they be willing to accept now? We are closer to production, we have enough capital to get us there and it looks like the lithium cycle might be showing early signs of rebounding. Just trying to keep it simple. All IMO, DYOR etc etc.
