Problem for Gina is she needs lithium for her India deal with Modi. AZS is years away from construction and production, LTR has a stockpile of nearly 1.5 million tonnes at battery grade and a production plant a few months away from commissioning. The longer she waits, the more she will have to pay. If she makes an offer that is accepted, then she starts nearly straight away. Also what effect does that have for our O/Ts, with mines closing and production cuts it will be interesting where they get lithium from. Not China
