Your post inspired me to have a look at the Karara Mining Limited accounts for 30 June 2013:
At 30 June 2012 there was a provision for bonus entitlements of $6.963 million. At 30 June 2013 that amount had reduced by $5.236 million to $1.727 million.
Maybe management had a change of heart and decided to declare those bonuses not payable, and reversed them. However, if this were the case you would have expected that they would have wanted the market to know what sort of guys they were. Since this did not occur then IMO the $5.236 million was paid out.
If
"The board of Gindalbie Metals has appealed to shareholders to bear with the company as it irons out delays in ramping up production at is Karara project in mid-west Western Australia."
Maybe they should appeal to shareholders by paying the bonuses back.
