wording?
can anyone comment on the following excerpt
"The fact that we have observed mud-log gas shows (C1 to C5) in the thin limestone beds means we need to complete the drilling of the Nido Limestone section to understand the significance of these preliminary findings."
so this says the reason to continue drilling is to understand what theyve seen already. (not to see if theres a big accessable oil/gas patch below.!!!) so this sounds like a downbeat assessment.
why not say.
these preliminary findings give us good reason to continue drilling in expectation of more hc shows..
my guess is that they are trying to play it down
and are gearing up for a very exacting assesment of the well,
just my hunch
