jeeper - agree that i think, from a profit perspective, MAE is attractive. if i am able to free up some funds in the short term i will likely take a punt, knowing full well it is a gamble.
matto300 - correct, MAEs debt is +6% on the bonds recently issued by BHP, but you need to also take into account the fact that MAEs debt will be secured and BHPs not.. security usually achieves a nice discount to unsecured rates
